The analysis of literature is only one concentration offered by the English Department at GMU. There are other concentrations available to students, and these may have objects of analysis or inquiry that require different genres or forms, in order to meet different rhetorical demands. Below you will find a partial list of these concentrations, but because these concentrations are so diverse, it is not possible to provide guides to each variety of task you may encounter.
