ACM
- Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
Citations and full-text articles in the area of computing
and information technologies from journals, magazines, and
conference proceedings published by the ACM, one of the
world's largest computing societies.
Applied
Science and Technology Index
International and English-language periodicals, covering
engineering, mathematics, physics, and computer technology.
Includes articles, interviews, meetings, conferences, exhibitions,
new product reviews, announcements, and more.
Biotechnology
and Bioengineering Abstracts
Covers ground-breaking research, applications, regulatory
developments and new patents across all areas of biotechnology
and bioengineering, including medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural,
environmental and marine biology.

The NECI Research Index (aka CiteSeer) is a scientific literature
digital library that aims to improve the dissemination and
feedback of scientific literature (chiefly computer science).

Provides online access (searching and browsing) to over

A cluster of databases on materials science, including:

MathSciNet
A searchable web database providing access to over 59 years
of Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications.
Mechanical
Engineering Abstracts
Topics include mechanical engineering, nuclear technology,
fluid flow, hydraulics, thermodynamics, aerospace engineering,
materials handling and more.
NTIS
NTIS research reports, compiled by the US National Technical
Information Service, cover such fields as engineering, biotechnology,

Full-text of U.S. patents issued by the USPTO since 1976.
Displaying and printing of full images requires a TIFF browser
plug-in.

Citations and the table of contents for every congress,
symposium, conference, exposition, workshop and meeting
received at the British Library.

Citation Index Expanded
A multidisciplinary database with searchable author abstracts
for over 70% of the articles, covering the journal literature
of the sciences. Over 5,000 major journals are indexed across
160+ disciplines.
Solid
State and Superconductivity Abstracts
Global coverage on all aspects of theory, production, and
application of solid state materials and devices.
Springer
LINK
Provides online access (searching and browsing) to over
480 journals and two book series (Lecture Notes in Computer
Science and Topics in Current Chemistry) published by Springer
and its partners. LINK is divided into "Online Libraries"
by subject.
Transport
Database of transportation research information. It is produced
by the 25-nation Organisation for Economic Co-operation
and Development together with the United States' Transportation
Research Board and the European Conference of Ministers
of Transport.
TRIS
(Transportation Research Information Services)
Provides bibliographic records, and some full-text, of transportation
research published in books, journal articles, and technical
reports.TRIS also includes links to the International Road
Research Documentation database.
Water
Resources Abstracts
Provides summaries of technical and scientific literature
on water-related topics covering the characteristics, conservation,
control, pollution, treatment, use and management of water
resources.
