The GAE variety of "r" is a type of retroflexed "r"-- an "r" made by curling the tongue up and back a bit. Many non-English languages have an "r" approximant, but their variety is produced as a trill. Consequently, when speakers of these languages produce English, they typically trill the "r" sounds. This is what the speaker of Turkish 1 does.
