Experiential Learning:
This course is an experiential learning course. As such, students are expected to 'experience' the course work in a real life setting. There will be several hip-hop related events throughtout this semester which will allow you to become one with the culture.
Each student will be required to attend one event in each category [which correlate to the four elements of hip-hop]. A review sheet will be provided and must be turned in no more than one week following the event. If this sheet is not completed, no credit will be given. Events will be discussed in class to give a feel for the type of atmosphere to expect.
