This course carries one experiential learning credit. As such, students are expected to 'experience' the course work in a real life setting. There will be several Hip-hop related events throughtout the semester which will allow you to become one with Hip-hop culture.
Each student will be required to attend one event in each category [which correlate to the four elements of Hip-hop]. A review sheet will be provided and must be turned in no more than one week following the event. If this sheet is not completed, no credit will be given. Events will be discussed in class to give a feel for the type of atmosphere to expect.
