This site pretty much gives a definition of what hip hop is and gives the latest news in the hip hop industry. at this sit you can view album reviews, learn about the latest rappers in hip hop, news, events and there is also a spoken word poetry page. You can also learn about hip hop involving politics in this site. I liked it because you could participate in interviews and talkback live with famous people like Chuck D. He has photos of most of the top hip hop artists, news archives, and dejaying . There is also a place in this site where you can play hip hop games.

Sarah Jones, a spoken word poet, was told by the FCC that her poem "Your Revolution" was indecent and radio stations were forced to stop plalying her poem. Ironically, the poem was meant to be an appeal to male hip hop stars to stop trashing women in their music. In fact, som,e of the rappers she calls out are still receiving air play from the same staiton that stopped playing her music. Check it out!
