This course carries one experiential learning credit. As such, students are expected to 'experience' the course work in a real life setting.

There will be several Hip-hop related events throughtout the semester which will allow you to become one with Hip-hop culture.  Each student will be required to complete 2 experiential learning activities, on wof which must be a live event. Aside from events, there will be several movies which will qualify for credit.

A review sheet will be provided, there is one for events and another for movies, and must be turned in no more than one week following the event (I will post a separate form for movie reviews). If this sheet is not completed, no credit will be given.

Events will be discussed in class to give a feel for the type of atmosphere to expect.
