In Brief. . .
A. Your Web site is your class portfolio. Instructions for what it should have are here. It should contain:
  1. Your introductory essay, You and the Internet, which you handed in initially on paper;
  2. Assignment 2, Report on the Evaluation of Web Sources
  3. Assignment 3, Report on Virtual Community/Cyberculture and
  4. Your final paper, a Web-based Report on an Internet topic.  Your proposal for this should be on your Web site and on Town Hall.

B. On Town Hall:

  1. Your Introduction;
  2. The link to your Web site;
  3. Discussions on readings from The Design of Everyday Things, by Donald Norman;
  4. The proposal for your paper;
  5. Additional special reports and discussions;
  6. The venue for the class chat with Dr. Norman, to take place April 13, from 5:30 to 6:30.

C. In Addition, you are asked to prepare the following:

  1. Discussion guide for Norman Chat (paper);
  2. Service Learning agreement for Exp. Learning Project (paper);
  3. Progress Report on Experiental Learning project (Town Hall);
  4. Draft of paper on your Internet Topic (paper);
  5. Your Exp. Learning timesheet (paper);
  6. Your Exp. Learning Student Eval. (paper);
  7. The Supervisor Eval for your Exp. Learning project. (paper)
Check the syllabus for due dates.

Grading standard for Final Grades:

90 - 100 = A
80 - 89 = B
70 - 79 = C
60 - 69 = D
59 - - - = F
Plus or minus will be figured in, as indicated.
