- The Pluralism Project
The goal of the Pluralism Project, sponsored by Harvard University, is “to help Americans engage with the realities of religious diversity through research, outreach, and the active dissemination of resources “ The resources pages links to web sites dedicated to various religious traditions around the world, as well as institutes, scholarly resources, and news and journalistic sources of religious interest. This page also features resource links to information on the intersection of religion and American institutions, such as the government, and education, health care and justice services. This resource from the First Amendment Center provides answers to commonly asked questions about the teaching of and treatment of religious issues in public schools. Adobe

- World Scripture A Comparative Anthology Of Sacred Texts
An online archive of the print-based book edited by Dr. Andrew Wilson that quotes and explains “scriptural passages… from 268 sacred texts and 55 oral traditions, and is organized in terms of 164 different themes” in order to provide a comprehensive comparison of the major religious traditions of the world. - CIE : Guidelines for Lesson Plan Authors
The Council on Islamic Education (CIE) guidelines gives educators an overview of Islamic concepts and the history of the religion. It also identifies correct spelling and usage for commonly misunderstood Muslim and Islamic terms. Additional curriculum materials are available at the Teacher’s page. The Resources section provides online information on the Hajj, Ramadan, and the Islamic lunar calendar, as well as a glossary of Muslim and Islamic terms. (reviewed 11/12/03)

website provides social, historical, political, religious and cultural
