Orientation

This section provides two tutorials: how to use the Cultural Inquiry Process (CIP) Guidebook, which is the core of the Web site, and how to use the navigational features of the CIP Guidebook and the Web site.

After clicking on a link to an orientation tutorial below, the screen will divide into two frames. To use the tutorials, read and follow instructions in the top frame. The bottom frame will contain the relevant portions of the site, which are discussed in the top frame. Scroll down the top frame, following the directions to navigate the frame below.

Note: Click and drag the horizontal bar between the two frames to resize them if necessary.

To exit a tutorial, and to display the CIP Web site in the full screen, click on one of the sidebar menu links on the left side (teal-colored area) of the screen.

In addition to these two tutorials, which focus on understanding and using the structure of the CIP site, there also is a set of CIP Course Instructional Resources that are useful for an in-class Web site orientation exercise and a Tutorial on Using Resources in the Cultural Inquiry Process.
