Course Description
BIOLOGY
104
is intended primarily for non majors and is the second part of a two
semester
sequence in the Biological Sciences. It is used to fulfill (in
part)
George Mason University's General Education requirement for a
laboratory
science. Topics covered include: animal structure, function
and homeostatic mechanisms; higher plant structure and function; and
major
topics in ecology.
We will be
using the latest edition of Campbell, et al., Biology: Concepts and Connections.
