seriously. It is your responsibility, as a student, to study the Honor
Code (see the current GMU catalog) carefully and ask your professors for
further explanation of guidelines for protecting your information and the
information of others that you use as sources in your academic products.
University faculty have an obligation to refer the names of students
who may have violated the Honor Code to the Student Honor Committee, which
treats such cases very seriously.
