Late work: Not acceptable and not accepted. You know when things are due. Please plan ahead for all contingencies. Computer and printer glitches are NOT acceptable excuses.

Class activities 100 pts.

Each class will have some sort of group activity in which students are expected to participate. In order to earn points for these activities, students must be in class. If you are not in class, you cannot earn points. Points missed cannot be made up. This may also include written assignments and homework.

Major Class Projects 300 pts.

CMC Project: 100 points

CMC Paper: 100 points

Community Service Project: 100 points

Exams 100 pts.

Two multiple-choice exams will be given. Each will be worth 50 points.

You will need to bring a number 2 pencil and a teal or light green Scantron sheet for each exam. These green Scantron forms can be found at the GMU bookstore by the checkout stand.

Each exam will cover readings from the text, lectures, and presentations from class members.

The final exam will be somewhat cumulative, meaning that the focus will be on the chapters not covered previously, however, there will be a few questions from the first tests.

If you are late or miss the exam and someone has already finished the exam and left the room, you will have to take an alternative exam. You will lose 10% each DAY late.

I have posted on the schedule page two study guides. I will not go over these in class, however I will answer any questions you may have.
