Honors Program
This semester we are providing HNRS 110 students with two different kinds of opportunities to learn about research in fields of their interest, Faculty Research Conversations (below) and Departmental Lectures.
At these discussions, professors from departments across the university will be talking to us informally about research practices that are specific to their disciplines. You are invited to all of these discussions, and required to participate in at least two of them. Your instructor will assign a brief written assignment to follow-up on your participation. You may choose which of these discussions to attend based on your own long-term academic interests or on your Honors 110 research projects (or both). At least one week prior to each discussion you plan to attend, please email Heather Anderson handers4@gmu.edu to reserve your seat.
