| The GMU Library System online: http://library.gmu.edu
(the entry point to the catalog, databases, references, help with research,
Web guides and tools) can be searched via the Internet.
[The GMU Library Catalog and databases can be accessed
from the Internet (generally using an ID or password), but the sources
accessed on these databases are not Internet sources.]
Some library databases have full texts that can be printed and downloaded.
Libraries evaluate sources before they include them in their collection.
Anyone can publish on the Internet, without evaluation. Here are
some guidelines to evaluate the credibility of text
sources and Internet
sources.
Library Databases
The GMU Library subscribes to many databases.
