Site Visit Collaborative Web Site

You must create a formal web page that demonstrates intellectual rigor, grammatical correctness and appropriate navigation techniques. The site should be visually appealing. You should consider your choice of colors, use of graphics and photographs carefully. Please remember that you will create the site for a public audience.

Web Requirements:

  • Create at least 10 screens that include from 1500-2000 words.
  • Use maps, drawings, sketches, charts, graphs and/or photographs to illustrate your text. (Use original art when possible, and always be aware of copyrighted material.)
  • Link the web site to each group member's personal web site.
  • Link to three relevant external sites.
  • Use hypertext for navigation. (Do not simply "dump" text documents into a site.)

For guidance on page creation and linking, and some examples of hypertext navigational systems, review the hypertext workshop from week three
