   In this project so far, you have interviewed your subject and created an overview of her or his life (Chapter I), researched a scientific issue related to your subject (Chapter II) and studied a specific time period through which your subject has lived (Chapter III).  Now, you are asked to focus directly on this individual again and consider him or her in the context of citizenship.  In Chapter IV of the Discovery Project, we ask you to examine your subject’s life and values in relation to some of the core concepts of citizenship we consider in this course. As you might expect in a course entitled “Self as Citizen,” we also ask you to discuss your response to this person’s beliefs and practices related to citizenship.
