The Internet and College Education |
1) What are the main questions the Pew Report attempts to answer? Choose one specific question from this research project and explain why you feel it's an important question to answer in assessing the role of the internet in college education. 2) Develop a research strategy:
3) How would you access your sample population? How would you make sure that your means of access did not disenfranchise segments of your sample population? 4) Now get down to the nitty-gritty. Which four specific questions would you ask your sample population to assess the role of the internet in college-level education? Why do you value these particular questions? 5) Once you collect your data, for what purposes would you be able to use them? For example, to request funding for access to technologies......... 6) Be ready to present your conclusions to the class (from the front of the class!). You may not say, "We came up with the same as the other groups." |
