a class blog on http://new.blogger.com/. Instructions are here: http://mason.gmu.edu/~montecin/blog-how-to/ . Link it to your course Web page. This is an ongoing assignment throughout the course. Every week (or every two weeks if you want to double up), you will be expected to post an entry to your blog reflecting on how your class learning (thought reading, researching and investigating, class discussion, and activities and working on assignments) relates to particular NCC competencies. We suggest you focus on one particular competency per entry. Try to cover as many competencies as possible. When discussing your learning, be sure to give specific examples. Link your blog to three (3) other classmembers' blogs. When writing your competency reflections, you should make a point of linking to possible relevant entries they have made and discuss how those entries have informed/enriched your own understanding of the competency and your reflection. At the end of the semester you should have a better understanding of the skills you are enriching and have related your learning to ALL of the competencies. |
