Information for Current and

This is the Bouleuterion, the place for public debate and
deliberation, at Miletus in Asia Minor. Miletus was home to
Thales, Anaximander, and Anaximenes, who are the earliest known
philosophers of ancient Greece. This image comes from the rich
and excellent Perseus
collection.
