HTML Tutorial

In this tutorial you will learn to Begin a web page and Format Text, Create a variety of Links in your page, Insert Images in your page, and Use Tables to arrange elements on a web page, all using basic HTML codes or "tags."

  • Begin a web page and Format Text
  • Create a variety of Links in your web page
  • Insert Images in your web page
  • Use Tables to arrange elements on a web page

Note: Even if you use an HTML editor like Netscape Composer or Dreamweaver, some basic knowledge of HTML tags and how they work can help you troubleshoot problems while composing with an editor. It is important to know the codes, the basic logic of the codes, and the basic web-writing process because html editors are not always consistent and you may have to go into the text file to edit some of the code on your own.
